Rescue teams from the International Fund for Animal Welfare are trying to save 10 stranded dolphins. Last month 177 short-beaked common dolphins stranded on Cape Cod, that's five times what researchers typically see in an entire year.

This year, repeated discoveries of finless porpoises along the Yangtze has sounded new alarms that the porpoise, could follow the Baiji's fate.
