EFE (July 10, 2013) — A new image of a star being formed inside of a dark cloud was shot by the European Southern Observatory's ALMA telescope and is the best picture of this kind of event ever captured. The high resolution photograph will allow scientists to study the star's creation process in depth and expand or change established theories. In its current state, the star is 500 times the mass of our sun and is pulling large quantities of matter towards its core through gravity. This matter will eventually collapse, forming a young star that will ultimately be 100 times the size of the sun.

The two theoretical forces have never been detected but are believed to make up more than 95 percent of the universe The researchers want to know what the forces are and how they work.
