Human-Size Transformer Robot Developed

Buzz60 (Mar. 19, 2013) — Carnegie Mellon University developed a human-size transformer called CHIMP or CMU Highly Intelligent Mobile Platform. The robot was designed for DARPA, the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency's robotics challenge. The transformer can grip and manipulate tools, climb ladders, and prevent itself from falling over.
