The Smithsonian's National Zoo announces its new baby panda is a girl, and the father is National Zoo panda Tian Tian. Mother panda, Mei Xiang, gave birth a few weeks ago, but it takes time to determine the gender. The mother was artificially inseminated by sperm from two pandas, and as Gillian Pensavalle (@GillianWithaG) reports, this may be the cutest paternity test ever.
