Patrick the gorilla, currently living in the Dallas Zoo is being transferred to the Riverbanks Zoo in South Carolina because he apparently doesn't mesh well with the female gorillas or other males. The Riverbanks Zoo is known for it's behavior work with gorillas and officials are hoping to help Patrick. Patrick Jones (@Patrick_E_Jones) reports.

World's Rarest Gorilla Filmed in Cameroon Jungle

Reuters (May 9, 2012) — Video images of the world's rarest and most endangered gorilla species, the Cross River gorilla, have been captured by a forest camera-trap for the first time. There are thought to be no more than 300 Cross River gorillas in the wild and conservationists hope the footage will prompt efforts to help save the species from extinction.
