A new smartphone app called 'Doctor on Demand' allows patients to visit the doctor on their phone. For $40 the app allows users to video chat with a licensed physician, fill some minor prescriptions, and upload high-resolution photos for the doctor to analyze. Dr Tapas Mukherjee is now known as 'The Singing Doctor', with his version of 90s hit "Breakfast at Tiffany's" by the band Deep Blue Something, which he has adapted lyrically to help acute asthma patients treat their condition. Parkinson's Drug Linked to Artistic Spark

Reuters (Feb. 11, 2013) — A drug used to ease the symptoms of Parkinson's disease has also been found to boost the creativity of patients who are taking it. Levodopa is designed to increase dopamine levels in the brains of Parkinson's patients suffering from tremors, but researchers in Israel say that in some patients, it's also sparking an outpouring of artistic expression.
