RAW VIDEO: Best Photograph of a Star Being Born in History Taken by ESO

EFE (July 10, 2013) — A new image of a star being formed inside of a dark cloud was shot by the European Southern Observatory's ALMA telescope and is the best picture of this kind of event ever captured. The high resolution photograph will allow scientists to study the star's creation process in depth and expand or change established theories. In its current state, the star is 500 times the mass of our sun and is pulling large quantities of matter towards its core through gravity. This matter will eventually collapse, forming a young star that will ultimately be 100 times the size of the sun.

Stephen Hawking: God Particle Could Destroy Universe

Buzz60 (Sep. 8, 2014) — Professor Stephen Hawking is saying theoretically the Higgs Boson or the God Particle is very unstable at high energies and thinks that it's possible with a large collider, much larger than any we've constructed, the god particle could break down time and space itself, destroying everything. Patrick Jones (@Patrick_E_Jones) explains. Video provided by Buzz60
