Buzz60 (May 23, 2013) — A study sponsored by the National Confectioners Association finds the frequency of candy consumption is not linked to obesity, heart disease or cholesterol problems. The study in Nutrition Journal says people who ate candy every other day were no more overweight or at risk of disease than people who rarely ate candy.
