Rumble (Dec. 16, 2014) — NASA's Project Morpheus prototype lander soars into the sky above the north end of the Shuttle Landing Facility at Kennedy Space Center in Florida during a 97-second test flight. Space Research Hotline to the Moon

Deutsche Welle (Jan. 7, 2013) — Despite funding being scarce, Europe still has grand plans to make it to the Moon and Mars. The first goal is to build an outpost on the Moon to facilitate further trips into space. But such a station would have to be contactable at all times. Space researchers in Stuttgart are working out how to set up a sustained radio connection. They hope to position communication satellites at a spot between the Moon and the Earth where the gravitational forces of the two celestial bodies balance out.

AFP (Aug. 9, 2012) — The vertical takeoff and landing rocket Morpheus crashed and exploded a few seconds after lifting off during its first untethered test flight at the Kennedy Space Center on Thursday. According to NASA, Morpheus could be used in the future for landing cargo missions on the moon.
