Researchers Find Many Lipsticks Contain Toxic Metals

Buzz60 (May 2, 2013) — A study looking at 32 types of lipstick and lip gloss, found many brands contained toxic metals that can be dangerous at high levels. Researchers from the University of California, Berkeley, did not say which brands were used, but they bought the products at drug stores, department stores and beauty supply stores, and used brands that are popular with teens.
