Hospital: 7-Year-Old Recovering From Bubonic Plague

Officials say a 7-year-old Colorado girl diagnosed with bubonic plague has been moved out of intensive care and is recovering. Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children says Sierra Jane Downing is in good condition.
Newsy (Oct. 30, 2015) A 16-year-old girl in Oregon has been diagnosed with bubonic plague. Officials believe she contracted it from a flea bite while on a hunting trip.
