Shark
Sharks are a group (superorder Selachimorpha) of fish, with a full cartilaginous skeleton and a streamlined body plan. Sharks have keen olfactory senses, with some species able to detect as little as one part per million of blood in seawater. In general, sharks swim at an average speed of five miles (8.25 kilometers) per hour, but when feeding or attacking, the average shark will reach speeds upwards of twelve miles (19.25 kilometers) per hour.
