North American blizzard of 1978

The Blizzard of 1978 (more commonly known in New England as "Blizzard of '78") was a severe Nor'easter that affected the New England area of the United States.

Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts were particularly hard hit by this storm.

In all, up to 55 inches of snow fell in some areas.
