Digital "Visible Mice" Will Speed Study Of Genetic Disease

Advanced imaging technologies have enabled researchers to produce 3-D "magnetic resonance microscopy" (MRM) images of mice at more than 250,000 times greater resolution than MRI scans used to diagnose human disease. This "Visible Mouse" project will offer a powerful new tool for exploring the morphologic effects of genetically altering mice, believe the Duke University Medical Center researchers.
