Giardiasis

Giardiasis (also known as beaver fever) is a disease caused by the flagellate protozoan Giardia lamblia (also Giardia intestinalis).

The giardia organism inhabits the digestinal tract of a wide variety of domestic and wild animal species as well as humans.
